Miro has been fixed for Ubuntu Lucid

A very annoying bug has been fixed in Miro in time for Ubuntu Lucid.

After having contacted the upstream developers they have provided a patch for an annoying bug in xulrunner, which makes web gtk widgets ("inline websites" / IIRC) misbehave in Miro.

In the end it is just a shameless plug to make you get Miro - or update yours.

Available for a lot of operating systems, thanks to being built upon xulrunner.

How ironic that xulrunner is the exact reason we no longer have Songbird for Linux. Seems like a double edged sword to me...

Why is xulrunner the reason for Linux being second class citizen?

I'm not using Songbird, but have heard that it has been forked off already.
Also, it is still working, but has "just" lost official first class support.

ethana2Incompatible with gnome-globalmenu and RGBa translucency, thanks in part to being built upon xulrunner.

ethana2Put a hold on that, I installed it to be sure, and it's the first xulrunner app that I've seen does, in fact, work with the global menu bar.
