Launchpad.net could be faster
Link: https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/305630
Since Ubuntu uses Launchpad a lot, it is really frustrating, if this web application is quite slow.
Therefore I've filed a bug about it.
As I write in the report, there are bugs about particular issues already, but I'd like to put some attention to this: a lot of Ubuntu developers (and those from other projects using Launchpad) are using this website a lot and therefore it should be as snappy as possible.

This happened to me: My host disabled B2evolution because of high CPU usage. After some search I found that the site was hit by a single IP that ... happened to be me. I'm spamming my own site :|
After some investigation it seems I'm hit by a bug in the Firefox speeddial plugin (see post by chettyharish on http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=540112&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=360).
If that isn't bad enough *I am banned on Launchpad*. I can enter every main site but get a 403 error when clicking any link. I can't imagine this being anything else but a ban due to high traffic caused by this plugin.
Got an emailadress I can explain the issue?
Foppe, try going through the Launchpad Answers tracker (https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad) to explain your issue and get the ban deactivated (in case this page works that is). Otherwise, try "#launchpad" on Freenode IRC.Out of curiosity: do you have a static IP?
The IP is more or less static. It's an ADSL connection. It changed after a recent incident where their DHCP server broke down.
My previous ISP provided me with an IP that didn't change in all of the four years I used it. The agreement however stated it is not meant to be static (they are allowed to change it, it's not static enough to put a server up).
